You don’t even have to be home to have your branches mulched up.   What can be mulched up?  From dead pot plants to hedge or bush cuttings through to tree branch trimmings or vines and fallen sticks can all be shredded in our 30 hp shredder/ chipper.  What we cannot mulch are large amounts of really wet materials such as piles of green weeds or Succulents (small amounts mixed in with a majority of woody material is OK) These types of material are best dealt with by running them over with a mower and composting them. Plants that have long fibrous leaves like New Zealand flax grass are also not suitable for the shredder. Large piles of dried out branches do take a lot more effort to process and will cost considerably more than the same size pile of fresh (within a month or 2 of being cut) so save yourself some money by not leaving them too long. Mobile Mulching is not a tree chipping service or a rubbish removal service but a service for gardeners who need help in recycling their cuttings and improving their soil at an affordable price. When your green waste is in an easily accessible area (preferably in the front yard or close to the curb) give Glen a call on 0402 678 287 to arrange for us to come and have a look. We can give an exact price when we see the pile and let you know either in person if your home, or over the phone. If your happy with the price (Most people are surprised at how affordable the quote is) we can process the materials and leave an invoice with account details and the agreed total to be paid by direct deposit. You don’t even have to be home to have the material mulched. Although we try to give very affordable prices, if any branches or cuttings etc need to be dragged to the mulcher, the time taken and hence the price that's quoted will be considerably higher. The pile of cuttings do need to be in an area that can be driven next to, or backed up to by a small truck and trailer. Basically the easier you make it for me to process your green waste the cheaper I can quote. Make loads of fertile compost to regenerate your garden The shredded material can be used to make loads of compost by mixing it with your grass clippings and other decomposable wastes. If requested, a finer grade of shredded material can be obtained by running the mulch through the shredder a second time at an additional cost. The secret to producing good quality compost is to keep it moist and aerated regularly (every 3 or 4 days while its producing heat). Crusher dust or soluble mineral fertilizers can be added to ensure of a mineral rich finished compost.  Giving Nature a Helping Hand
